What is the School Site Council (SSC)?

  • The SSC consists of administrators, teachers, staff members, parents, and students. 

  • Meetings are held quarterly in our Family Center, are combined with our Community Schools Site Team meetings, and are open to the public.

  • The role of the SSC is to review and vote on pertinent school documents, including:

    • Our annual School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
    • The portion of our school budget reserved for parent involvement. 
    • Our Family Engagement Policy and Title I Home-School Compact
    • Our annual Safety Plan
