Jenni Camarena
Hello! I'm "Mrs. Cam", and although this is my 13th year as a teacher, this is my very first year at Loara! Previously, I worked as an SDC Teacher at South JHS, and before that I worked as a Reading Specialist/Special Education teacher in Illinois- where I grew up! I also serve as an Induction Mentor for beginning teachers, and have been a track, softball, and cheerleading coach in many years past. I have 2 year old TWINS, so my life outside of teaching is BUSY! I love to run, do yoga, eat, and create DIY projects all around my house. My style of teaching is unique- my focus is always on building a safe and cozy space for my students to call "home", yet I combine that with my high energy in the hopes of encouraging my students to WANT to be at school to learn. I am thrilled to join the Loara team this year!
