On behalf of Chelsea Saurer, Program Director, Camp Kesem--

Camp Kesem offers a completely FREE summer camp program for children impacted by a parent’s cancer. Sessions of Camp Kesem will be held throughout Southern California this summer, and round-trip bus transportation will be provided. Camp is staffed and managed by student volunteers from college student volunteers.

Applications for Camp Kesem opened to the public this month! We are so excited to welcome nearly 12,000 children to our camp this summer across the country, and we hope to include many families from the Southern California region in this year’s programs.

To apply, families can simply visit our website at kesem.force.com. There, they can find more information about camp dates, locations, and activities.  To apply, they simply need to click the green “REGISTER A CAMPER” button in the top right corner of the screen and fill out the online form.  The form takes about 20 minutes to complete, and must be finished in one sitting. Please note that our application is available in both English and Spanish, and we would be happy to also provide you with a hard copy paper application if you work with families who prefer that to applying online.
